KHODALDHAM is an inspiration, magnificent and beautiful in every way, is unique and first of its kind. It is one of the largest comprehensive Hindu temples, measures 299 ft long, 253 ft wide and 135 ft high, covering vast area. In magnificent temple, idols of Maa Khodiyar together with Maa Amba, Maa Bahuchar, Maa Verai, Maa Mahakali, Maa Annapurna, Maa Gautral, Maa Randal, Maa Butbhavani, Maa Brahamani, Maa Momai, Maa Chamunda, Maa Gel and Maa Shihori to put in and consecrate.
KHODALDHAM is having a unique architecture displaying tradition of the community. Besides Khodaldham, the temples of Shri Shiva Mahadeva, Shri Ram Darbar, Shri Radhakrishna, Shri Shrinathaji Bava, Shri Ganesha and Shri Hanumana to be established and consecrated.

Khodiyar Maa rules over mind and heart. She rules over day and night. She rules over land and water. She chose a crocodile as her vehicle as it is an amphibian animal. This holy shrine of Maa Khodal is being constructed at Village Kagvad in Saurashtra, India, attracts lakhs of devotees from all parts of India and abroad. The temple is easily accessible and well connected to important cities of India through road. The scenic beauty, the landscape around and the constant chanting of “Khodaldham”, leaves a mystic effect on the devotees. Whenever you chant, ‘Jai Khodiyar’ with faith in it makes you feel elated, enlightened, enriched and empowered.
Words fall short of competence to illustrate the divinity and prowess of Khodiyar Maa. We can merely make an effort to share information on this site but it is your faith in Khodiyar Maa that can do wonders. KHODALDHAM site is planned to be developed in three phases.
The First Phase:
- Building the temple accompanied with a driveway, parking areas, play area for kids and a garden together with restaurants.
- A religious and spiritual magazine "Khodaldham Smruti".
- Spiritual Library.
- Yoga training and exercises centers.
- Competitive examination centers for UPSC, GPSC including all the major state & central government conducted examinations covering different posts in descending order.
- Orphans education center upto establishing children into society.
The Second Phase:
- Heritage & Cultural Exhibitions for deepen understanding about the ever-changing concepts and realities of ‘community’.
- World Class unique sport complex.
- Various Courses upto Post-graduate level & relevant training programmes.

- Maa Khodal Krushi University for research and development in agriculture.
- Agricultural advisory services & innovation.
- Use and demonstration of modern equipments.

Community

The history of Leuva Patels goes back to several centuries by their descendents residing all over the world, known for compassionate, hard working and very resourceful people. Leuva Patel Samaj has expanded their business activities at the international level contributing in educational sector, industrial sector, religious activities, science and technology, sports etc.
It is reliably stated that around 2000 years ago Leuva Patels migrated from Punjab to Gujarat, Patan to Adalaj and Karnavati. From there, they moved to Saurashtra, Kutch.
From 12th to 18th century, during the rule of Badshah Akbar, King Siddhraj Jaisingh, King Jamnaresh, Aurangzeb and other Rajput kings, these Kanabis (Patels) developed the areas for farming and thus becoming official owners of their land. These kings entrusted these sons of farming community for their efficiency in agriculture & hardworking nature. The Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel fought for the freedom of the country, honest in word and deed, used to be with the villagers all day and night and appreciated the minds of these farmers.
In 20th century, Leuva Patels received many notable achievements.
Now in 21st century, Leuva Patel community has moved towards path of unity. Khodaldham is being developed to become very beneficial for the country and society to create a history.
